Drone Light Shows in New Orleans

Nationwide. Full airspace and safety planning included.

New Orleans is a city built around public spectacle, which makes it unusually receptive to drone shows — and unusually crowded at exactly the moments you would want to fly one. Crowd management and river-adjacent siting are the governing constraints.

Choreographed light shows for sports, corporate events, festivals and brand activations. The work is half animation and half aviation: the show is designed like motion graphics, then flown under an airspace plan with the safety case a public crowd requires. We consult on shows nationwide as well as fly them.

Permits and authorizations in New Orleans

Film New Orleans handles City permitting and Louisiana Entertainment coordinates the state incentive. The French Quarter carries its own layer of historic-district restriction, and it is the layer visiting crews most often miss.

When New Orleans actually flies

Summer humidity and near-daily afternoon storms compress the usable window badly from June to September. Autumn through spring is the working season, and Mardi Gras reshapes the entire city's logistics for weeks.

We shoot the French Quarter, the river, the bayou, and the Garden District — and we travel. CineDrones works nationwide, so if your production is basing in New Orleans and shooting somewhere else entirely, that is a normal week for us.
