Drone Photography in Las Vegas

Raw delivery. Part 107 certificated. Fully insured.

Aerial stills of the Strip, the resorts and the surrounding desert for hospitality campaigns, gaming clients and property marketing. The blue hour window here is short and the neon dynamic range is brutal, which is a raw-capture and bracketing problem before it is a flying problem.

Aerial stills for key art, campaigns, editorial, architecture and listings. We shoot raw, deliver graded or flat depending on what your retoucher wants, and we plan around the sun rather than around the schedule where the schedule allows it. The same certification and insurance apply as on any motion job, because the airspace does not care what you are capturing.

When Las Vegas actually flies

Summer daytime heat genuinely degrades battery performance and shortens flight times, which pushes serious work to early morning and after dark from June through September. Winter is the best flying weather in the country, and wind is the only real variable.

Flying Las Vegas

The Strip is roughly a mile from Harry Reid International, which puts the most photographed corridor in Nevada directly under Class B with LAANC grids that frequently read zero. Getting a legal aerial over the Strip is not a matter of opening an app on the day. It is coordination done in advance, and it is the single thing that separates crews who can shoot Vegas from crews who say they can.

We shoot the Strip, Fremont Street, Sphere, Allegiant Stadium, and the desert an hour in any direction — and we travel. CineDrones works nationwide, so if your production is basing in Las Vegas and shooting somewhere else entirely, that is a normal week for us.

Drone Photography in Las Vegas — questions we get

What do you deliver?

Raw files as standard, plus graded selects if you want them. We will deliver flat if your retoucher would rather start clean. Nothing is baked in that you cannot undo.

Can you shoot golden hour in Las Vegas?

That is usually the plan. The constraint is rarely the light — it is getting authorization for the specific location at the specific hour, which is why these shoots get planned rather than improvised.

Do we need a permit for aerial stills?

Commercial aerial photography carries the same requirements as motion work: a certificated pilot, airspace authorization where applicable, and usually a location permit. The airspace does not care whether you are shooting stills or motion.
